In life we sometimes say, I'll be happy when...... instead of focusing on the joy of the journey. This blog is about our Joyful Journey!

This was Preston's second year on the Robotics Team. He and his fellow Cybercats worked really hard. They even got a trophy for "Team Spirit". They were differently one of the loudest teams there.

Christmas Family Home Evening
Every year we spend one night (usually a Monday night for FHE) and we decorate cookies. This year we decorated a gingerbread house. We also made Christmas ornaments with different pictures of the life of Jesus Christ on them. It was a great activity!
**Only problem was we woke up the next morning to our gingerbread house covered with ANTS!
How cute am I??
One day I told Emma how cute she looked........she had her hands on her face just like this picture of Kirsten. Kirsten obviously heard me say that and so she made this face. I couldn't resist taking this picture.
**As a side note: Emma now thinks that every time she wants something she just needs to put her hands on her face like this and smile. She hasn't figured out yet that I don't fall for it.

Pumpkin Patch
Kirsten's Kindergarten class went the the pumpkin patch. It was such a great to go with her. All of the kids were so excited to ride the school bus. They really enjoyed the hayride, suspension bridge, story-time, and hike to Peter Rabbit's house.
These are Kirsten's classmates.
Here's a picture of Mrs. D. She was Kirsten's long-term substitute teacher while Mrs. B. was on maternity leave.
Kirsten and her friend Katelynn.
As you can see by the jacket it was a little cool out, but that didn't stop the kids from having FUN!
