Sequoia National Park/ Kings Canyon National Forest

Grandma with the kids in front of a huge stump!

We took a tour of Crystal Cave. It was pretty good and the kids seemed to enjoy it, except for the hike back up to the parking lot.

Marin checking things out.

Mondel & Kirsten with their headlamps on because the cave had limited lighting.

We took a couple mile hike and this was the view from the top.

Preston and Kirsten enjoying that fact that they made it to the top.

Kirsten and Grandma checking out the Christmas trees. Kirsten wanted me to take a picture of her with this wildflower that she found.

I had to take some pictures of this beautiful purple flower. It was great to take a hike and enjoy being in the middle of nature.

More Christmas trees................

It was hard to see the trail in some spots so we explained to the kids about trail markers. They had a lot of found looking for all the trail markers after that. Marin even enjoyed making her own trail markers.

Here we are, the Farnsworth Family in all our camping glory.

Jen and Mondel (I'm not liking this picture, but I had to include a picture of just the two of us)

We had a wonderful weekend camping and seeing all the sites in Kings Canyon National Forest and Sequoia National Park. He had a great campsite. The weather was nice. It was very relaxing.
